In September 2022, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the Kharkiv region from Russian occupation — a historic counter-offensive covering over 12,000 km². One year later, Ukrposhta set out to commemorate this event in the smallest but most symbolic format: a stamp. The concept focused on a common thread in the liberation narrative — the return of Ukrainian flags over the welcome signs of de-occupied cities like Kharkiv, Izyum, Kupiansk, and Balakliya. The visual style echoed rapid sketching, capturing the pace and momentum of the offensive. Each stamp was framed using the cities' coats of arms, while additional cards told real stories of soldiers and civilians who made the victory possible. The results spoke for themselves: sold out in under two hours, 4.5 million+ in media coverage, and all with zero media spend. A small canvas that carried a massive meaning.
