Children’s Hope

Brand Identity Social Initiative Character Design Visual System

2025

Children’s Hope is a long-standing social initiative by Kyivstar, launched in 2018 to support children facing heart disease, cancer, and critical injuries. Funded by Kyivstar subscribers via dobro.ua, the program has already raised over 51 million UAH and helped 74 hospitals across Ukraine. But despite its impact, the initiative’s original branding no longer captured the warmth and humanity it stood for. We transformed the visual identity to be softer, more emotional, and child-centered. The Kyivstar star blossomed into a flower — a symbol of life, growth, and care. Each direction of medical support (oncology, cardiology, burns, palliative) was assigned a gentle, reassuring color. We also introduced four original characters — Starzyks: Oni, Opi, Cardi, and Reni — who act as emotional guides for young patients. With a renewed look, clear symbolism, and a touch of childlike magic, Children’s Hope became not just a support system, but a familiar friend. A brand that feels like a hug — so their stories can continue.
